We drank the wine so that we might depart

Hail me a ride into a world alight with desire

Body and mind and the wind inside

Fought with the fire we begin to remind

Reading a sign in the sand we find desire

Upon the waves we’d ride and then tear apart

We cast the net wide so that we might depart

From your ways and my cryptical art

Sailing away beyond the wall

Stealing the days we catch and fall

Feelings that fade, return and call on the wire

Fighting the waves and on out to sea

Floating away and finally free

Again we wheel and sway walking the wire

Walking the wire

The wire is life

the rest is just waiting around

Struggle and strife

fury and sound

The wire is death

just waiting to be found

From breath to breath

from above to underground
